Formed in 2007, our community began as a group of friends, swapping tips and sharing design ideas amongst themselves.
As word spread, we expanded and now here we are, an active and friendly community of interior designers, all sharing and helping each other.
Some of our community are professional interior designers and decorators. As well as being a great social opportunity for designers to get together, Spotlights UK also acts as a directory of professionals for our members to use.
Being a part of Spotlights UK is therefore an invaluable way of a professional designer reaching out to the public.
Our readers are always on the lookout for reliable recommendations and professionals they can trust. This is your chance to be one of them.
All we ask is for our professional designers to contribute to the community and give as much as they take from it.
We are not only a job opportunity for you, but a chance to help out and offer your experience out to others.
We are always on the lookout for people to write blog posts for us as well as articles on aspects of interior design and lighting.
If you have an idea for a blog that you would like to send us, please mark it for the attention of the online editor, Cherry Houston.
In the first instance, please send us your idea as an outline, with your email address and relevant experience.
It is not only professionals that we are looking to for contributions, amateurs also can write for us and we appreciate all the help that we get. But we do ask for a brief email and no unsolicited contributions in the first instance.
We are all about bringing people together, which is why in addition to running an informative website with a rich data base of information, we also organise real life events.
This summer we are planning a series of workshops and classes as last years proved so popular. These are free to attend, but we do have limited places so booking immediately is advised.
In addition to this, we have some fun and relaxed social meets planned for August and September.
We look forward to seeing some of you there!
